About the League.

The Jr. NBA Basketball England League is an exciting partnership between the National Basketball League (NBA) and Basketball England, creating a competitive league for boys and girls aged 11-13 years old.

The Jr. NBA Basketball England League features 30 schools that are drafted to an NBA team, competing in an multi-game season culminating in a single game elimination playoff tournament to determine the Jr. NBA Basketball England League Champions.

The Jr. NBA Basketball England League format mirrors the NBA; including a draft, regular season, playoffs and a Jr. NBA Final - giving players a real NBA experience - with replica kits and winning finalists taking home championship rings!

League Objectives

The objective of the League is to leverage the excitement of the NBA and Basketball England to inspire and engage more young people to participate in basketball by having a fun, positive first experience with the game at secondary school.

The League promotes common NBA and Basketball England values as well as encouraging physical activity and healthy living.
