Wrexham University - Basketball Coach

Wrexham University is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Basketball Coach to lead their Men's team to success.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the skills and abilities of student athletes, promoting sportsmanship and teamwork, and creating a positive team environment.

You will be brought in as an independent contractor.

MK5D Basketball Academy Assistant Coach

MK Breakers are looking to recruit a dedicated basketball coach to work in the MK5D Basketball Academy, in partnership with the 5 Dimensions Trust, based at Shenley Brook End School.

The work will focus on assisting Academy Head Coach with the running of the Basketball Academy, which caters to elite male and female players aged 16-19, competing in the CBL (boys) and WEABL (girls).

The role also includes head coaching the MK Breakers U18 Men’s National League team and assisting the MK Breakers Senior Men who compete in NBL Division 1.

Community Basketball Coach

Milton Keynes Breakers Basketball Club is a thriving community basketball club, providing weekly basketball sessions to over 1,100 club members in addition to a successful schools coaching program and an elite player pathway through Junior National League, Academy and Senior Men.

MK Breakers are looking to recruit a dedicated full-time basketball Community Coach to help the growth of basketball in the area.

The work will focus on the coaching of young people at school and club sessions. It will also include coaching school teams including individual/team sessions and games.

The coach will be expected to help attract new players to MK Breakers satellite clubs and Jnr. NBL sessions. The coach will also have the opportunity to coach within Milton Keynes Breakers Basketball Club’s Jnr. NBL programme.

Nottingham Wildcats - Full-time Basketball Coach

Full-time Basketball Coach Opportunity

 The lead coach to the male section of the Nottingham Academy Wildcats Perform Programme has recently taken a senior coaching position with a German Eurocup team. The Nottingham Wildcats Trust are therefore looking for an experienced basketball coach to fill this vacancy.

This is a full-time salaried position and the post holder will be part of the experienced coaching team already employed by the Wildcats Trust. The post holder’s main areas of responsibility are:

  • Head Coach of the Nottingham Academy Wildcats CBL Programme.
  • Monitor and mentor academic progress of male student athletes.
  • Support male student athlete in exit goals.
  • Head Coach of the Men’s U18 Premier team.
  • Managerial responsibility for the Arena Cobras recreational basketball programme.

A job share would be considered if the two post holders could between them cover all of the post’s duties and responsibilities.
