Portsmouth Basketball Club - Head Coach

We want Portsmouth Force to be an NBL Division One team within five years and want a Head Coach with the desire and commitment to achieve this, whilst being a role model for all junior sides.

We expect the candidate to be highly motivated, friendly, positive and approachable, who will always remain professional and calm.

Candidates should:

  • Have experience playing or coaching basketball at a high level (NBL Division Three or above)
  • Have the ability to engage and excite both young and experienced players who are gaining or growing an insight into life
    as a professional athlete.
  • Hold basketball coaching qualification – Level 2 Minimum – with a commitment to achieve Level 3 (supported by club)

HTS Academy - Basketball Coach

HTS Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Basketball Coach to join our outstanding coaching team.

Applicants will be responsible for coaching and mentoring student athletes Years 7 to 13, delivering engaging and creative sessions that develop and engage students challenging them to become their best on and off court.

You will be a part of a larger PE and Health and Well Being Faculty working closely with forward-thinking, collaborative and supportive colleagues who are motivated to promote student success.

The faculty work hard as a team but also have a great sense of humour and achieve a healthy work-life balance. We are looking for a team player who will help us to develop and shape the next phase of our journey to excellence.
