Disciplinary Code

The Disciplinary Code is a commitment to strengthening the integrity of basketball at all levels to make it as fair, safe and enjoyable as possible for everyone involved.

Code of Ethics

This Code of Ethics and Conduct applies to all those involved in the sport of basketball under the jurisdiction of Basketball England.

Anti-Corruption and Betting

Basketball England want to protect the integrity of the game and ensure that all games are contested on a level playing field and won on merit.

Basketball England is part of UK Anti-Doping which means ALL players competing in the National Leagues, and BBL/WBBL Competitions may be subjected to Drug Testing by UKAD at any time during the season.

We are a privacy conscious organisation and strongly committed to your right to privacy.

Whistle blowing policy

Our Whistle Blowing Policy is in place to give those working for Basketball England the confidence raise concerns about unacceptable practice, misconduct or unlawful acts. The Policy is for employees, suppliers, contractors and agency staff. Members should raise concerns via our Complaints process.

Eligibility and Participation Exemption Policy

Where an Athlete does not meet the Eligibility Criteria to compete in Competitions, the Athlete may wish to establish their eligibility under this Policy by making an application for an exemption.
