The first day of the Under 15 Regional Development Tournament (RDT) was played at a high standard, providing great viewing for all involved. The format allows players, coaches and officials plenty of opportunities to improve throughout, with 32 games spread across the day.
Two regions set the pace in the boys’ competition, with South in Pool A and East in Pool B both going undefeated. London were the pick of the bunch in Pool X for the girls, winning all three of their games to stay perfect. Pool Y was a more even affair with South and East tying at the top on 7 points, and East taking 1st place on the tiebreaker.

At 1:00pm, play will stop for the Finals of the British Shooting Test. After some intense heats today, there were some very impressive performances but only 4 players could make it through. The draw is as follows:

After Saturday's action, Basketball England's Programme & Pathway Integration Manager Charlie Ford said, “As is so often the case when players and coaches come together from across the country, the basketball is really strong and a testament to the work being done at a club and regional level. I’m looking forward to more of the same tomorrow.”
