BTM Basketball are delighted to announce Christmas 2018 will see London host the second annual “Battle in the Capital” international basketball tournament featuring high-level Under 14 and Under 16 teams from Europe and the UK.
The tournament will take place at UEL SportsDock, a state of the art basketball facility which has hosted the London Youth Games, BUCS finals and the Team USA practices in their run up to the London 2012 Olympic games. It will run over two days on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 December and will feature Under 14 Boys, Under 14 Girls, Under 16 Boys and Under 16 Girls categories, for international and UK teams who will compete in pool play, playoffs and championship game action.
The tournament gives teams, players and coaches the opportunity to network and build relationships with UK and other European players and coaches. Foreign teams will be able to compete against England’s best and will enjoy a London excursion day to see some of London's most famous and historical sights.
