Basketball England is pleased to announce details of our 2019/20 NBL events, including finalised venues, dates and tip times.
The prestigious National Cup for both senior and junior teams will be held for second year running at The University of Essex Sports Arena. Saturday 1 February will play host to all four junior finals, with Sunday 2 February containing both senior finals.
Tip times over the two days are as follows:
Saturday 1st February 2020
10.00am – U16 Girls National Cup final
12.30pm – U16 Boys National Cup final
3.00pm – U18 Women’s National Cup final
5.30pm - U18 Men’s National Cup final
Sunday 2nd February 2020
1:00pm – WNBL National Cup final
3.30pm – NBL National Cup final
In April, the National Basketball Performance Centre in Manchester will once again play host to the Senior Playoff Finals 2020, with all five games taking place over the weekend of 18/19 April 2020.
Tip times are as follows:
Saturday 18th April 2020
1:00pm – NBL Division Three playoff final
3.30pm – WNBL Division Two playoff final
6:00pm – NBL Division Two playoff final
Sunday 19th April 2020
1:00pm – WNBL Division One playoff final
3.30pm – NBL Division One playoff final
As always, the NBL season will conclude with the Junior Final Fours, this year scheduled to take place on 2/3 May 2020. With the iconic National Basketball Performance Centre playing host once again, Manchester will welcome the top four male and female teams from the U14, U16 and U18 competitions for what is sure to be a thrilling weekend of basketball. With semi finals taking place on the Saturday, and 3rd/4th place game plus finals going ahead on the Sunday, it's an event not to be missed!
Timings for the Final Fours will be announced in the coming weeks. For travel and accommodation purposes, fans should be aware that the usual Bank Holiday that follows the Junior Final Fours is a week later this year, on the 8 May 2020, due to VE Day.

The NBL department is also pleased to announce that finalised playoff structures and dates for 2019/29 season are now available for senior and Jnr. NBL leagues.
As apart of the new competition structures announced in May 2019, only Premier teams will be allocated playoff spots in the Jnr. NBL leagues.
All Jnr. NBL league winners will receive a champions pack, including a winners' plaque and certificates. League runners up will also receive certificates.
