The penultimate weekend of BBL action in February saw more gaps close in the BBL Championship standings.
London City Royals have moved into the top four after picking up two more wins. They defeated Bristol Flyers 91-83 to stay unbeaten at home in the league before seeing off Surrey Scorchers 73-94 behind 18 points apiece from Will Neighbour and Ed Lucas.
"The team is in a good place," said Ashley Hamilton. "Winning is always positive especially when you get consecutive victories. We have to continue to grow, learn to be a team and move forward with that goal in mind. It means lower averages and numbers but equals a win."
Leicester Riders joined London Lions on 14 wins at the top of the BBL Championship after completing another successful double-header. Rob Paternostro's side beat Cheshire Phoenix 76-69 with a strong defensive effort in the fourth before coming from behind to edge out Plymouth Raiders 87-90 as Tim Williams fired in 34 points in the road win.
Radisson RED Glasgow Rocks closed the gap on the top eight as they joined Bristol Flyers on an 8-9 record with a 99-82 success, on BBC Sport. Greg Pryor led six players in double figures with 18 points as the Rocks continued their unbeaten league run in 2019.
Meanwhile, London Lions edged closer to another Final as they defeated Manchester Giants 74-101 as Justin Robinson netted 28 points in the Trophy Semi-Final First Leg.
The Giants had also been defeated on Friday night as Esh Group Eagles Newcastle claimed their first win at the Eagles Community Arena with a 93-85 triumph behind 20+ points from Victor Moses, Darius Defoe and Kyle Williams.
