Leicester Riders made it three Play-Off titles in a row with an impressive 93-61 victory over London City Royals in the benecos Play-Off Final, in front of 13,000 fans at The O2.
The result sees the Riders collect their fifth BBL Play-Off title, while the Royals are denied a fairy tale ending to what has been an incredible debut season for the reigning BBL Trophy holders.
The Riders ended the first half with a late Holder triple and the side from Leicester carried the momentum into the third period. The Riders poured in 19 points in the opening six minutes of the quarter and held the Royals to just four.
Riders shot the ball with efficiency from all over the court: 50% from two, 38% from three and 89% from the free throw line.
Holder set the tone for the Riders, scoring 17 points to go along with seven rebounds. Williams also impressed for the winners, pouring in a game-high 20 points - on just 12 shots - in addition to 10 rebounds.
