Both Conference leaders grabbed further wins in week 7, though how did the rest of the results play out? With ten games to choose from across the weekend, there was plenty to enjoy for NBL fans.
In a battle of two North West sides, it was Myerscough who emerged triumphant as they defeated University of Chester 81-63 on Sunday afternoon.
Myerscough have been flying high in the Northern standings and were too much for UoC to handle, with Lewis McGlasson putting together a standout performance. The 6'3" wing scored 21 points for his side, with no other Myerscough players making it to double digits. That said, all 11 players for the hosts scored at least 3 points.
Ebehireme Omole top scored for Chester with 17 points as one of four players who made it to double digits.
Team Newcastle continued their unbeaten start to the season with a straightforward 103-52 win over Sheffield Hallam University. With a 55-27 score after 20 minutes, the game was effectively over by half time, with Thomas Horvat enjoying a great game for the Knights to finish with 41 points.
20 points apiece for Andre Gayle and Daniel Pilkington was enough to see Manchester Magic past Charnwood Riders 95-88. The Manchester lead grew throughout the first half, hitting double digits by the break. That platform allowed the Magic to go and grab a valuable two points in the standings and their 4th win of the season.
Offence was the order of the day of in Bristol as the Flyers beat Derbyshire Arrows 118-94. Despite the high score, Derbyshire's Joseph Baugh was unusually quiet as he went 3-16 from the floor, with Bristol's Pasquale Landolfi top scoring on 20.
Bristol Hurricanes start to the season went from bad to worse as they lost 80-63 against Team Birmingham. The loss puts the Hurricanes at 0-5 on the year, even a game high 24 points from Lukas Motiejunas wasn't enough to lift the Hurricanes here. Dan Penkov was the pick of the Birmingham players, he had 20 points to go with six rebounds, five assists and seven steals.
In the Southern Conference, Essex Rebels remain unbeaten as they knocked off Sussex Bears on the road 95-84. Jumping out to a 29-12 lead after the opening quarter set the Rebels on their way to victory, with captain Tom Child top scoring on 17 points.
Greenwich Titans grabbed their first win of the season after a 93-78 away win over Cardiff. Despite their slow start to the year, Greenwich's Arturo Noha Pascual has been in fine form and that continued against the Archers with a 31 point performance. James Dawe top scored with 19 in reply.
Ipswich secured a big win over London BC Medelynas thanks to a great display from Luke Mascall-Wright. The Ipswich captain's 27 points helped create an exciting battle with Medelynas' Algirdas Jaras, who finished with 22 points and 12 rebounds. Ultimately it was Ipswich who secured a 83-67 win though.
East London All Stars moved to 3-1 thanks to a 68-59 victory over London Westside, with Jase Harrison top scoring for the All Stars, and London Greenhouse Pioneers also picked up a win, beating Team Solent Kestrels II 74-55. A game high 26 points from Greenhouse's Tom Martin helped make the difference in that one.

In the North, Manchester welcome Bristol Flyers, University of Chester entertain Joseph Baugh and the Derbyshire Arrows and Team Newcastle look to stay unbeaten as they face Derbyshire Spartans.
Elsewhere in the North, Team Birmingham will look to make it back to back wins as they host Sheffield Hallam, plus Charnwood face off against Bristol Hurricanes.
In the Southern Conference's only game, Team Solent Kestrels II face a visit from London BC Medelynas.
