There are another five worthy winners of our Player of the Week awards below, with some spectacular performances in week 10. Congratulations to all our winners!
This week's Division Three Player of the Week is Jason Tucker from Nothants Titans.
Tucker scored an impressive 35 points to help his side to an entertaining 118-103 road win over County Upper Wolves. The victory was the Titans' 5th straight to begin the season, vaulting them to the top of the Eastern Conference standings.
"I'm happy to win this award," said Tucker.
"I'm enjoying every moment playing alongside my close friends and for a club winning in all areas."
"This recognition is so well deserved," added head coach Powell. "JT is a real credit to this team, leads by example and is a real inspiration to those around him….including to me!"
After putting up yet another strong performance, Cardiff's Amber Deane has collected her third D2W award of the season.
Helping the Archers to grind out a 71-64 win over University of Hertfordshire Wolves, Deane finished with a game high 31 points. The victory kept the Welsh side's unbeaten start to the season alive, they're now 4-0.
“I’m proud of the way our team played this week," commented Deane.
"It was a competitive game throughout, but we stayed composed and pulled out a nice home win."
After one of the performances of the season so far, Ashley Williams has been selected as the D2M Player of the Week.
The talented scorer put up a stunning 51 points as Team Solent II beat Cardiff 106-71, with Williams adding 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals to his monster points total.
"It was a win we really needed in the league and I’m extremely pleased with the result," said Williams following his 55 efficiency rated effort.
"My coach and teammates put me in the best position to score every possession and that enabled me to get in rhythm, it as a great all-round team performance.”
Kelsi McNamara is our D1W Player of the Week after a great performance against Bristol Flyers last Saturday.
The American guard dropped a game high 29 points as her side beat the defending D1W regular season champions 81-48. A Massachusetts native, McNamara also added three steals and three assists for a final efficiency rating of 32.
"I'm very thankful to receive this award, said McNamara. "However, I give credit to my teammates who have been working so hard this season and came together to play some of our best basketball as a team.”
As Team Solent Kestrels' unbeaten streak continues, it's no surprise that they've collected yet another personal accolade. Travis Charles is our D1M Player of the Week on this occasion, the third Kestrel to win the award this season.
Charles was in unstoppable form against Loughborough, helping his side to beat the Riders 99-85 thanks to a 22 point, 18 rebound double-double. The American also had three assists and a pair of steals, and an efficiency rating of 36.
"My mindset is always that I’ll do anything to help my team win weather it’s take 5 charges , to get 5 loose balls or 30 points," said Charles.
"Even though this is an individual award this is really just a by product of doing what it takes to win ball games."
