The 2018-19 Regular WBBL Season came to an end over the Easter weekend with the Quarter-Final matchups in the benecos WBBL Play-Offs confirmed.
Sevenoaks Suns completed a memorable 22-0 league campaign with a 71-63 victory over Nottingham Wildcats on the final day of the regular season. Renee Busch fired in seven triples in a 21-point haul to help the Suns secure a perfect finish.
"It's a great accomplishment for us as a team," said Cat Carr. "Even though we finished 22-0, we have had our ups and downs throughout the season so it's an awesome feeling for us to be able to get this done.
"We are excited and looking forward to the Play-Offs."
Leicester Riders made sure of a top-two finish as they denied Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters with an 82-66 victory. Holly Winterburn led the way for the Riders with 22 points as they closed out the regular season with an 18-4 record with the Hatters third at 17-5 having beaten Essex Rebels 66-76, on Saturday.
Durham Palatinates are heading into the WBBL post-season for the first time and they sealed fifth spot after beating Oaklands Wolves 69-92 on the road in their final game. Monika Bosilj starred with a 29-point haul and her side will visit Manchester Mystics in the benecos WBBL Play-Offs.
Meanwhile, Manchester had edged out Newcastle Eagles for an 81-79 success in overtime behind 22 points from Rachel James
Cardiff Met Archers beat Caledonia Pride 53-39 and BA London Lions claimed an 89-76 victory over Essex Rebels with the four sides missing out on the top eight.
