The Great Britain Men’s and Women’s team have had some great highs over the last decade.
And they go into the new one with lots to aim for in their respective EuroBasket campaigns and the women’s February bid to qualify for the Toyko 2020 Olympics Games.
But for now we look back. For a bit of festive fun, as 2019 comes to a close, we want you to select your teams of the decade – starting fives from the best players of the last ten years for the GB men and women.
Between 2010 and 2019, the Great Britain Men competed in three out of a possible four FIBA EuroBaskets (2011, 2013, and 2017) and the 2012 Olympic Games.
The Women’s National Team competed in four out of a possible five FIBA EuroBaskets (2011, 2013, and 2015, and 2019) and the 2012 Olympic Games.
Some of the biggest names in British Basketball featured in those tournaments, but who would make the best five-player teams of the decade?
