Jnr. NBL action was delayed because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
But, following the return to the three-tier system of restrictions and a period of preparation, fixture schedules have been adjusted to allow the league to restart.
NBL U12, U14, U16 and U18 leagues will commence from 23/24 January.
However, if teams can confirm they had training in December, over Christmas period and in January, and both teams are in agreement, there is availability for some fixtures on 9/10 and 16/17 January 2021. This must be authorised with BE on a case-by-case basis.
Gail Richards, Basketball England Senior Delivery Manager, Leagues, Competitions and Events, said: “It’s great that our junior clubs will be safely returning to the court after the shutdown.
“We have been able to rearrange fixtures in a way that is manageable for everyone involved and look forward to seeing our young players getting back to what they do best and progressing through the remainder of the season. Good luck to everyone.”
