L Lynch Trophy: Quarter-final draw sets stage for next round

The draw for the L Lynch Trophy quarter-finals have been made as the pre-season tournament edges towards the knockout stages.

Following the draw on Rebound’s NBL preview show with Chris Hughes and L Lynch Plant Hire Marketing Director Max Rossi, teams now know who they will - or in many cases could - face once all the group standings have been finalised.

Worthing Thunder were the latest side to book their place in the last eight, thanks to Sunday's 83-81 win over Barking Abbey.

Thunder will face the winners of Group 4, with things still all to play for between Myerscough, Bradford Dragons and Derby Trailblazers.

Solent Kestrels, winners of their group, play Hemel Storm, second in theirs.

Meanwhile, Thames Valley Cavaliers will play the runners of Group 3 (Loughborough Riders, Nottingham Hoods, Leicester Warriors, Charnwood), with the group toppers to face the runners up of Group 4.

The dates for the quarter-finals will be confirmed shortly and will take place in December.
