Solent Kestrels lost their first game since last February - but still claimed a place in the BBL Trophy Final and a piece of history.
By beating BBL side Bristol Flyers 103-67 in the first leg of the semi-final last week, the NBL team all-but booked their place in the final of the elite league's competition.
Despite a 92-73 loss in the return, Solent claimed the first place in a BBL final for a second-tier team with a 17-point aggregate margin.
Gentry Thomas led the scoring for the Flyers with a game-high 27 points but Elliot Sentance and Ian Smith hit 17 and 16 respectively to keep the Kestrels in the picture.
They will face either Cheshire Phoenix or Newcastle Eagles in the final in Glasgow next month.
The Kestrels, who knocked out last season's BBL champions London Lions in the Trophy first round, beat south-coast NBL rivals Worthing - who themselves had beaten the BBL's Manchester Giants in the first round - to become the first NBL team to reach a BBL semi-final.
