It has been a tough year for everyone in our sport and across the country as we fight back from the damaging effects of COVID-19 and lockdown.
The picture nationwide remains uncertain and, no doubt, there will be further challenges in 2022, but I'd like to put on record my admiration of and gratitude for the hard work, determination and passion with which so many individuals and organisations in basketball have stepped up to keep the game going this year.
Everyone from players, coaches, officials and staff to volunteers and supporters, across local, regional and national levels of the sport, have shown commitment, dedication and selflessness to help basketball through a tough time.
I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas. Enjoy a well-deserved break and let's hope we share an exciting, rewarding and safe New Year. #TogetherWeAreBasketbALL.
