The Championships commence on August 18, with GB’s first game taking place on the same day against Slovakia. Fixtures against Austria, Luxembourg and Romania follow in the Pool Stages of the competition.
Ahead of the competition getting underway, U16 Women’s Head Coach Donnie MacDonald said: “It’s great that the European Championships have arrived and our young players have the opportunity to represent Great Britain once again.
“Our preparation has been short, but we have focused on the ways we can be successful at the championships. We have a great group of players who really want to compete, learn and grow as a team, which is really exciting.”
