With five games dotted across the schedule, highlighted by a solid performance in front of the NBL Live cameras by Team Solent Kestrels, it was another quality weekend of D1W action.

CoLA just keep on winning, notching their 12th victory of the season as they beat Anglia Ruskin 57-40 yesterday.
Billed as a defensive encounter, this one lived up to the hype as the hosts kept their opponents below 13 points in all four quarters.
CoLA's Emily O'Connell (11pts) and Funmi Amode (10pts) were the only players on either team to reach double digits, with MVP candidate Katrin Hulme restricted to just six points for ARU.
Defeat here coupled with results elsewhere mean that Ruskin slip down the standings into sixth, where as CoLA move another step closer to the D1W title.

Ipswich (6-3) clocked their sixth win of the season as they beat London Lions II (1-10) 80-62.
The victory keeps Ipswich undefeated on their own court this year, with their latest W coming courtesy of a couple of big double-doubles.
Cameron Taylor-Willis (13pts, 15reb) and Yassin Belle-Mbaye (12pts, 15reb) both bossed the glass in this one whilst chipping in their fair share to the Ipswich total, as Ava Battese (20pts, 9reb) and Saruna Gudza (18pts) both played well.
Nicholle Lavinier's 27 points led all scorers as the lone bright spot for the visitors, who remain one from bottom of the D1W standings.

Team Solent Kestrels (6-5) moved their record above .500 as they played hard on NBL Live, knocking off Bristol Academy Flyers (4-8) 94-48.
Winning the opening frame 24-7 set the South coast side up for victory in this one, and although Bristol improved in from there, the damage was already done.
Faye Endean flirted with a triple-double before closing on 18 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds, with Krisztina Velkey-Cleeve continuing her recent good form to add 15 points.
Bristol were held to just 25% shooting from the field, with Leila Jepson top scoring on 13 points.
Loughborough Riders (7-2) were the only road team to win in week 14 as they beat Worcester Wolves (4-6) 84-68.
Robyn Ainge led the way with 24 points for the Riders, who were ahead from tip to buzzer in this one. Katie Januszewska (18pts, 7reb, 6ast) and Alia El Shabrawy (15pts) 8reb, 4ast) both played well in support.
Chandre Nunez once again contributed a stunning performance in the loss, with the Wolves star closing on 32 points and nine rebounds, though only Caitlin Collier and Anna Trett (11pts each) joined the American with double digits on the score board.
Finally, Thames Valley Cavaliers (7-2) made it five wins in a row as they defeated Nottingham Trent University (0-10) 65-46.
After an even first half, TVC began to pull away in the third and once their lead stretched into double digits, it would never dip below that mark.
Cavs' captain Katherine Goldsby was impressive, dropping a game-high 17 points to go with eight boards as all 12 TVC players scored at least one point.
Trent were led by Lindsey Cleary (12pts, 10reb) and Lilly Annim (10pts, 7reb), but time is running out for the NTU if they're to mount any kind of push for D1W survival.
