After the opening phases of Skills Camps took place across BE’s 10 regions in October and November - see the gallery below - further sessions are set to take place.
Selected players will then move onto Super-Region Camps from January to June.
As in previous years, all squad lists are subject to change as the programme progresses, and players from Skills Camps can still progress to Super Region activity at any point. Likewise, Super Region players can be transferred back to Skills Camps, if required.
The programme will culminate with the Aspire All-Star National Tournament in July.
Club coaches can nominate players for inclusion in Aspire throughout the course of the programme using the form below.
The nomination window will temporarily close two weeks ahead of each camp. Nominations received after that time will not be guaranteed an invite and will be held until the next opportunity at the discretion of the Regional Talent Manager.
Basketball England’s Aspire programme continues to underpin the work done across the sport’s Talent Pathway.
Aimed at talented 11-15-year-olds, Aspire graduates have been excelling this summer after moving through the programme as part of their continuing development.
Eighty-five of the 86 players on the current England Talent Programme (ETP) came through the programme, with some going on to represent Great Britain this summer.
Of the 48 roster spots across the GB U16 and U18 Men’s and Women’s squads for the recent European Championships, 37 of those players (77%) came through Aspire from 2019 onwards.
