GB were third in their group to miss out on the quarter-final action, then started the 9-17 classification stage with a thumping win over Georgia.
But they were unable to follow that 78-44 success in their second placing game, going down 67-57 to Greece before bowing out with a 68-59 loss to Slovakia in the 11/12th place playoff.
Kian Omer-Jones and Katie Januszewska were the standouts against Georgia, while Fatmata Janneh had a powerhouse double-double of 23 points and 17 rebounds while Kaylie Edge also had 23 points in their group stage win.
Janneh led the GB averages lists, topping efficiency (13.3), scoring (15), rebounds (10.3) and assists (3.3) lists.
