There was a huge win for Manchester Magic in the EABL as they stormed past SGS College 122-48, whilst Copleston High School remain unbeaten in the WEABL South following a 93-29 victory over Barking Abbey.
One of the scheduled games in the EABL, BMet City of Birmingham Rockets vs Myerscough College, was abandoned in the third quarter due to condensation on the court. A decision on the resumption of that game will be made in due course.
We take a look back at the six games below.
Barking Abbey (2-0) remain unbeaten on the season as they beat Copleston High School (1-2) 89-56.
An opening 21-9 period put the hosts ahead early, and that moved to a 43-21 advantage by the half as Abbey then eased through to the final buzzer.
Will Stapleton (15pts), Kervy Mabaya (14pts) and Obinna Ekufu (13pts) all did the business for coach Broadmore's side, cancelling out a game-high 22 points from Matt Liddemore.
City of London Academy - Southwark (1-1) are up and running for the new season after an 86-80 victory against Itchen College (0-1).
Debutant Jaiden Dawes top scored for Itchen with 19 points as CoLA's Isaac Fagbenle led all scorers on 23.
In the North's only game, Manchester Magic (1-1) picked up their first win of the season with a sizable 122-48 win against SGS College (1-1).
A 33-10 opening frame put the writing on the wall early in this one, with Manchester's Demi Babalola (33pts, 10reb, 77% FG) putting together a standout performance.

Copleston High School (3-0) may have tasted defeat in the EABL but they had no issue picking up a win on the women's side, with coach Drane's side seeing off Barking Abbey (0-2) 93-29.
Maisie Keyes (21pts, 5reb, 4ast) continues to make good strides in her adjustment to Academy play, with captain Louisa Gibbins (16pts, 16reb, 5stl) providing another standout performance.
Megan Verbeeten was the only BA player to reach double digits, she had 15 points.
Itchen College (0-1) couldn't find a way past defending champs City of London Academy - Southwark (2-0), going down 58-26.
The Londoners used their trademark defensive intensity to restrict the hosts throughout, with Rachel Madu (14pts), Chloe Vella (11pts) and Ayla Habbal (8pts) top scoring for CoLA.
The only WEABL action in the North involved Nottingham Academy Wildcats (2-1) picking up another win as they came out on top 89-52 against The Sheffield College (0-1).
Reigning Player of the Week Tiarna Chamber-Desmond enjoyed another 14 points, though it was Hanya Correia (16pts) who would lead the Wildcats in scoring.
Marissa Evans (17pts) and Isabelle Dalmedo (16pts) were the two Sheffield scorers to pass into double digits.
