Copleston won both their contests against Oaklands Wolves, whilst CoLA beat Barking in the WEABL with a reversal for the two sides in the EABL.
Nottingham claimed a big win in their quest for the summit of the WEABL North, and SGS College got their season off to a winning start against BMET City of Birmingham Rockets.

SGS College (1-0) started their season on a high as they beat BMET City of Birmingham Rockets (0-1) 89-80.
Despite the single-digit difference between the sides come the final buzzer, SGS maintained a lead from late in the first quarter as the key baskets eluded the Rockets as they tried to pull level.
Corey Hill (22pts, 10reb, 5ast) was the standout for SGS in the win, he was well supported by Ashton Dyer (20pts, 7reb).
Larry Duru led all CoB scorers for the visitors, he had 25 points to go with 11 rebounds for the double-double.
Copleston High School (1-1) picked up their first win of the season 76-68 but were made to work for it against a dogged Oaklands Wolves (0-1).
The Suffolk programme led by as many as 21 points early in the fourth before the visitors made a late charge, though five points was as close as the teams would come before Copleston put the game to bed.
Matt Liddamore top-scored with 17 points to go with eight rebounds, while team-mate Charlie Smythe (11pts, 12reb, 8ast) flirted with a triple-double.
Daniel Kostadinov (12pts, 7reb) and Gavin Mitchell (11pts, 8reb) were the main sources of offence for the Wolves, who just left themselves too much to do at the end of a thrilling contest.
City of London Academy - Southwark (0-1) came up short at home to cross-London rivals Barking Abbey (1-0), going down 69-66.
Daniel Banjoko top-scored for the hosts, he had 17 points, and Amarlie Wilkinson led BA with 15.

Nottingham Academy Wildcats (1-1) picked up their first win of the season, getting back to .500 with a statement 76-68 win over Charnwood College Riders (0-1).
Last season's North champs were downed by a standout performance from Nottingham's Tiarna Chamber-Desmond, who coupled 23 points with 10 rebounds for a great day at the office as Kyhannah Campbell chipped in another 20 points from the Wildcats' bench.
Emily Taylor, Louise Fisher and Zara-Jess Gudza all had 19 points for the Riders, but Charnwood amassed just 11 points outside of the production from that trio.
City of London Academy - Southwark (1-0) got some revenge from the earlier EABL defeat as they beat Barking Abbey (0-1) 70-50 behind 27 points from Debra Wilson-Osuide, cancelling out a team-high 11 points from BA's Megan Verbeeten.
Copleston High School (2-0) remain unbeaten after they saw off Oaklands Wolves (0-1) 98-55.
A 25-12 opening frame set Copleston's stall out early, leading from tip to buzzer behind 24 points from Cerys Leach.
Deanna Carrington (16pts, 7reb, 8stl) and Maisie Keyes (20pts, 9reb, 5stl, 4ast) also enjoyed solid stat lines, with the reigning WEABL South champs forcing Oaklands into 34 turnovers.
Araya Nicholson was the pick for the Wolves, she had 16 points.
