JMA Reading Rockets and Copleston High School officially got the season underway last week after they played EABL and WEABL South contests, and now a pair of EABL clashes and a single WEABL contest make up today's action.
Charnwood head to the Trailblazers in what should be an interesting contest, and there's also a North West derby as Myerscough entertain Manchester Magic.
The lone WEABL tie sees Manchester Mystics take a trip to Nottingham Academy Wildcats in the North conference.

EABL champs Charnwood College Riders get their title defence underway this afternoon, as they make a tough trip to Derby Trailblazers.
The likes of Lewis Gleason, Oscar Curran and Lukas Masaitis have all now departed from that Championship winning side, but Edward Onyia, Caiden Ross, Nathanial Hanson and Lewis Malcolm all return, and alongside new faces Tristan Curran and Rudy Buckingham, the Riders will be hoping they're in a good spot to make another charge at the title.
DTB finished third in the North a year ago and will be hoping that Elias Norman, Jack Lemon and Zac Atkins can all help them repeat that level of production in 2024/25.
Influential trio Elliot Lawrence, Isaac Thorpe and Genti Cokaj have all now graduated, leaving new head coach Jake Chapman with some problems to solve across his new roster.
North Conference runners up Myerscough College have an all North West contest on their minds, as they welcome Manchester Magic in today's other EABL game.
Magic came close to making the playoffs a year ago before falling just short against Sheffield and Derby, and the loss of Matthew Goodwin, Joe Buchanan and Darstin Onye won't help on that front.
Ronney Ani is the side's most notable returnee, and the step up to EABL play for Jack Walton and Demi Babolola is sure to be fun to watch. Both have made a name for themselves in the Magic's Jnr. NBL ranks and watching the next step in their development is sure to be of interest to basketball fans.

This afternoon's only WEABL game sees the North Conference spark into life, with Manchester Mystics taking on Nottingham Academy Wildcats.
Both teams lagged behind eventual Conference winners Charnwood a year ago, with Manchester taking the #2 spot and Nottingham coming in third. Both will be wanting to make a fast start to this campaign if they're to avoid a similar fate.
Nottingham have retained a core of Alina Riley, Sammy Mullock, Mia Gajaga and Aliyah Olawoyin, though standout Valerie De Falco has moved on to NCAA Division 1's Eastern Washington University.
With seven notable additions to their roster, including Tiarna Chambers-Desmond and Hanya Correia, the Wildcats could be a team to watch heading into the new season.
Manchester welcome back the familiar faces of Elizandra and Carina Costa plus Alexandra Hernandez, though a return to fitness of former WEABL MVP Isobel Robinson could be the roster's biggest boost after her battle through a number of long term injury problems.
Exciting prospect Irene Oboavwoduo makes her WEABL debut after progressing through the Manchester ranks, though the departure of fellow starlet Maisie Keyes to Copleston is sure to be a loss for the North West programme.
