Week eight consists of a pair of contests each from the EABL and WEABL as the mid-season break looms.

Myerscough College return after a week away from EABL action to host old North Conference rivals and reigning champions Charnwood College Riders.
The Riders (2-1) will be looking to bounce back from their 12-point loss at Manchester last Wednesday, a game in which Edward Onyia (24pts, 16reb) was a big positive.
Myerscough (2-0) haven’t tasted defeat yet.
In the South Copleston High School (1-3) go in search of a second win of the season but will come up against an Itchen College side who swept aside Oaklands last week and will be feeling confident. They are 2-1 so far.

Last season’s final runners-up Copleston High School have flown out of the blocks in the South Conference.
They will defend a 4-0 record when Itchen College (2-1) visit.
Charnwood College Riders, who made it to the Final Four last season, are good enough for second spot behind Manchester in the North. They face newcomers Shenley Brook End, looking for their first win at the third attempt.
