Myerscough College returned to EABL in fine fettle, recording a 71-54 win over North Conference rivals and reigning champions Charnwood College Riders.
'Sco are now the only undefeated team in the north with a 3-0 record.
Standout performers were Junior Sanchez Falette, who had a 22 points, eight rebound and five steals on 26 efficiency, while team-mates Harry Godwin (12 points) and Aaron Ogunjobi's (none points) played their part, with Ogunjobi picking up five important offensive rebounds to give 'Sco the edge on second chance points.
The Riders, however, move to a .500, having now lost two on the bounce.
Edward Onyia was their main man with a double-double of 12 points and 15 rebounds. Caiden Ross also put 14 away. They will hope to take those positives into their trip to SGS next week.
In the South, Itchen College (3-1), bristling with confidence, beat a determined Copleston High School 94-65.
Joe Lloyd, had a 23 points, eight rebounds outing on 22 efficiency, with Dawid Cimochowski backing him up with 18 points and seven rebounds of his own.
Copleston's (1-4) search of a second win of the season continues. Fin Morgan didn't let his team go down without a fight, grabbing himself a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds.

Copleston High School showed their quality by beating Itchen College 87-53 and have a 5-0 record, putting them squarely at the top of the South Conference.
Captain Louisa Gibbins, Maisie Keyes and Holly Ensoll showed their excellence, recording high efficiency ratings.
Keyes put away 20 points with a 46% FG percentage, Ensoll collected a ridiculous 17 rebounds and Gibbins led from the front with a 17 points, 13 rebounds and six assists.
Itchen now sit mid-table with a 2-2 record. Faith Mcdowell had a decent game with 15 points and five rebounds.
Charnwood College Riders stamped an emphatic 105-51 home win over newcomers Shenley Brook End (0-3), with Charley Woodman, Emily Taylor and Louise Fisher scoring 25, 22 and 18 points, respectively.
The Riders are now 2-3 and second in the North Conference and head to Nottingham Wildcats in two weeks next looking for the opportunity to go .500.
Brook End head to the Wildcats next week looking to bag their first win in the WEABL and all the confidence that comes with it. Faith Deakin (18 points) was their standout player.
