Basketball England has appointed Endurance Zone to deliver a new benefits platform which will give members the chance to take advantage of a diverse array of savings that reflect their passion for basketball.
It will offer big discounts on renowned sports brands and outlets such as Nike, Puma, New Balance and Footlocker - as well as providers of other products - to Basketball England's community of clubs, players, coaches, officials, volunteers and fans.
The initiative, launching in summer 2024 ahead of the 2024/25 season, will reward and engage members at all levels of the game - and aims to encourage new sign-ups through savings on gear, equipment and everyday costs.
Endurance Zone already partners with the likes of British Cycling, Fitness First, Great Run Company and others to reward their members.
The move is one of several changes to the Basketball England membership set to be implemented and part of a fresh commitment to improve value and service to members.
"We have conducted a lot of research over the past six months and gained feedback directly from our members on what they want from their membership in the future. Much of this feedback was around new and improved benefits.
“Alongside changes we are planning for next season, our partnership with Endurance Zone will give our members significant new benefits, access to discounted brands, including basketball training gear and merchandise, as well as unique access to competitions for some incredible brands.”
"By addressing the specific needs of the basketball community, we have created something special that will contribute to the continued growth and success of the sport in the UK."
Members can expect to get access to the Endurance Zone platform for the 2024/25 season as part of all paid memberships, with further details to be announced in the coming weeks.
