Week seven of 2024/25 saw Manchester wins in the EABL and WEABL - and standout players from both their men's and women's teams, as Jack Walton and Elizandra Costa took the individual honours.
Walton led Manchester Magic to an 85-73 win over Charnwood College Riders, moving his team to the top of the North Conference.
The young GB guard did a bit of everything to help his team to victory, with a strong second-half showing at an impressive efficiency rating of 31.
Walton had a game-high 26 points, including four triples, dished out five assists and grabbed seven boards, all at the defensive end, as Magic moved to 3-1.
Manchester's women also got the better of the visiting Charnwood to stay unbeaten for the season in another competitive game.
The Mystics grabbed a 77-68 win with twin threats Elizandra Costa and Irene Oboavwoduo, the latter recording a 22/13 double-double.
However, it was Costa and her 25 points, eight board and three assists at an efficiency rating of 23, who pipped her team-mate to the individual accolade.
