England U15 Boys unbeaten in Greece & U15 Girls beat Aris - squads, streams & gallery

England U15s Boys went unbeaten in Thessaloniki as they tested themselves against opposition from renowned Greek clubs in an invitational tournament.

England U15 Girls won their second game against Aris before a narrow loss to their U18 side. England Boys finished unbeaten with wins over Aris and Panathlitikos 15s and U16s.

The English teams were coached by Gem Salmon (girls) and Lewis Scott (boys), with the aim of the trip to continue the players’ development as part of the England Talent Programme by exposing them to new challenges and different styles of basketball.

Players were chosen following  last week's selection camp at the National Basketball Performance Centre in Manchester.

Head of Talent and Performance Steve Bucknall said:

This year our U15s will embark on a journey to Greece, where they can train and compete in one of Europe’s great basketball cities.

“This opportunity promises to be a thrilling challenge that will push our young athletes to new heights. The ETP programme's emphasis on international exposure not only shapes promising basketball careers but also instils valuable life lessons, fostering personal growth and a global perspective.

“We are excited to witness the transformation and development of our talented young players as they embrace this exceptional opportunity.

"As we embark on this exciting journey, we invite everyone to follow our U14 and U15 cohorts' progress and cheer them on as they represent our programme on the global stage.”
