Welham stormed to the Player of the Week award, draining 50% from the field to top-score with 38 points in Ipswich’s big win over Bristol Flyers.
She showed off her range, going 7/13 from outside and was a flawless with 5/5 from the charity stripe.
Welham excelled on the glass, pulling down 16 defensive boards, 17 in total, while dishing out six assists and nabbing a steal in a stunning individual display from the reigning D1W Wilson Player of the Year.
Porter was efficiency personified as she led Loughborough past Cobham on Saturday.
She scored 25 points on 70% shooting, sinking 4/4 from outside and going 7/7 from the stripe.
The Loughborough captain was also tough on the boards, leading her side with seven rebounds and found team-mates with three assists while committing just two turnovers in the contest.
No doubt about it, Porter put in a massive performance as her side moved to 6-3 on the year.
Brent needed a huge scoring performance from Fritz to edge past the tenacious TVC.
The standout guard is known for her scoring prowess and ended with 29 points, scored on 52% shooting and dropped 4/5 freebies in the outing.
She tacked on two rebounds and two dimes but had a field day on defence, finishing with eight steals and accounting for almost a third of her side’s takeaways.
Fritz had nine points in a tense final period as Brent edged away to pick up their sixth win on the year.
Keyes was on top form as Ipswich down the Flyers on Sunday. The Manchester product put up 24 points for her new team, going 9/13 from the field, including four makes from outside and a perfect 2/2 from the line.
She grabbed six rebounds, was amongst the leaders in assists with seven finds, and sent one Bristol shot back in a performance that had a bit of everything.
Ayla Habbal top-scored for CoLA Southwark Pride as they took the win on the road against Anglia Ruskin University.
Habbal finished with 18 points on 41% shooting and was flawless at the foul-line, sinking seven of seven attempts.
The CoLA guard finished with a double-double, pulling down 12 boards total, 10 on defence, dished out three assists and ended with four steals in a top all-around display.
Ipswich picked up a big win at home to Bristol Flyers, 104-71, to stay joint top of the WNBL1. Welham, Keyes and Maddy Wormald all put on a scoring show with 38, 24 and 18 points, respectively, with Welham picking up a 38-17 double-double.
Ipswich scored very well on Sunday, nailing 21 three-pointers, draining all 11 attempts from the stripe and shooting 43% from the field.
Bristol were led in scoring by Kim Kheing, who finished with 14 points on 50% shooting.
Brent Bulls overcame a big hurdle Saturday, narrowly getting by a tough Thames Valley Cavaliers side. Fritz led the scoring for Brent, finishing with 29 points, as Lindsey Cleary and Eleanor Bishop also hit double figures with 15 and 10 points apiece.
Brent were ruthless in transition, edging TVC in fast break points (22-15) and were able to weather an efficient scoring display from their hosts, in part through their relentless pace of play.
TVC saw Hanna Pryce score 23 points and Yassin Belle-Mbaye chip in with 17 points, a welcome sight for all TVC fans as she celebrated their Cup win last weekend on crutches.
