The number of unbeaten teams is now down to two, with just Hemel and City of Birmingham Rockets at 3-0, as Newcastle picked up a thrilling first win of the season away to Milton Keynes on Saturday.
That means Bradford and Worthing are the only teams yet to pick up a W so far, with D1M continuing to take shape in the early going.
We take a look back at all the weekend's action below, with links to live stats at the bottom of the page.
Hemel maintained their unbeaten start to the season with an 88-78 victory against Bristol Hurricanes.
Hemel raced out of the blocks with a 25-14 opening quarter, though Bristol would enjoy a small lead of their own in both the second and third quarter thanks to a 28-19 second frame.
The hosts had the better of the play after the break, with their lead touching a high of 19 points early in the fourth to see out the win.
With Veron Eze absent and Storm getting just five points from their bench, Hemel rode a number of solid performances from their starters, including Sam Newman (20pts, 3ast, 4stl), Darien Nelson-Henry (19pts, 11reb), Matthew Ellis (18pts, 6reb, 5ast) and Tra'Michael Moton (15pts, 5reb, 5stl).
Bristol's Denzel Vbiaro enjoyed a game-high 24 points to go with six boards in reply, with captain Daniel Edozie chipping in his second D1M double-double in a row with a 14-point, 13-rebound effort.
Hemel now take their unbeaten record on the road as they head to Loughborough next week, whilst Bristol will head back home for a clash with the team that joined them in promotion to D1M this year, Milton Keynes Breakers.

The weekend begins with a surprise result as Milton Keynes Breakers (2-1) suffered their first loss of the season, going down 82-81 at home to Newcastle Knights (1-2).
MK had led by as many as 10 points late in the third but a 27-19 final frame flipped the script for the previously winless Knights, with Corey Johnson netting a free throw to push his side ahead with just four ticks to go and cap off a 31-point, seven-rebound performance.
Essex Rebels (1-2) would split their home double-header, beating Nottingham Hoods (1-2) 84-67 on Saturday, before going down 76-69 a day later against Reading RocketsĀ (2-1).
Luke Busumbru (16pts, 7reb, 6ast) was the standout against the Hoods, though forward Greg Skoric (18pts, 12reb) would pick up another double-double in defeat.
Busumbru (16pts, 9reb, 5ast) was also solid against Reading, but it wasn't to be against Lewis Champion (19pts) and Justin Hopkins (21pts, 6reb) as the Rockets nabbed their second win of the season in Sunday's only game.
Derby Trailblazers (2-1) had no problem rolling pastĀ Thames Valley Cavaliers (1-2), with a 111-78 final score.
American guard David Simental (28pts, 8ast) had his best game of the season for the defending regular season champs, cancelling out 18 points and six boards from TVC's A.J. Roberts.
City of Birmingham Rockets (3-0) continue to roll as well, they remained unbeaten with a 91-83 victory against Worthing Thunder (0-3).
Trailing from tip to buzzer, Thunder would pull as close as four points in the fourth but the last few baskets needed to draw level proved elusive, with Worthing instead falling to their third loss in a row.
Zack Powell (16pts, 7reb, 4ast) was the standout for CoB, Elijah Maynard had 20 points for the visitors.
