With Ipswich booking their place in January's WNBL National Cup Final on Sunday in Loughborough, that left Pride to win their game and move to the summit of D1W, with Brent and Ipswich close behind.
We take a look back at all the weekend's match-ups below, with links to live stats at the bottom of the page.
The NBL Live cameras saw CoLA win their eighth game of the season as they got the best of hosts Manchester Mystics, 62-49.
WNBL fans were able to take in a standout performance from CoLA forward Adaora Dioramma, who collected a deserved 20-point, 17-rebound double-double.
Both were game-high totals, allowing the visitors to outrebound Manchester 52-34 as 40 of their 62 points came in the paint.
Debra Wilson-Osuide (13pts) and Ayla Habbal (10pts, 5reb, 5ast) both played well in support, with Habbal also netting 2/3 from long range in her total.
It was a rough afternoon for Manchester's starters as they struggled against the typically ferocious Pride defence, instead leaving Irene Oboavwoduo (15pts, 8reb, 7stl) to lead the way off the Mystics bench.
Once the impending mid-season break is over, Manchester host Worcester Wolves and CoLA have a much-anticipated top four clash with Brent Bulls.

A buzzer beater from Hanna Pryce helped Thames Valley Cavaliers (5-5) to end the year on a high as they edged past Cobham Cobras (4-7) 62-60.
Pryce (11pts) came up with the game's biggest basket alongside a double-double from team-mate Sante Moonie (12pts, 13reb), meaning Katie Richards game-high 17 points would be in vain for the Cobras.
Bristol Academy Flyers (6-5) ended their short two game skid as they got back to winning ways, beating Barking Abbey (1-8) 67-52.
A 30-11 opening quarter gave the Flyers all the cushion they'd need to lead from tip to buzzer as Mara Marchizotti (14pts, 11reb) and Marlee Ball (10pts, 15reb) both enjoyed double-doubles.
Worcester Wolves (4-5) once again showed that they belong at this level, picking up their fourth win of the campaign as they beat Anglia Ruskin University (6-5) 74-64.
Like fellow newly promoted side Cobham, the Wolves have acquitted themselves well in the first half of the season, with their latest win coming courtesy of a strong outing from Nina Wallace (23pts, 6reb, 7ast, 8stl).
Yesterday's only game saw Brent Bulls (7-2) keeping pace at the top as they caused further problems for relegation threatened Reading Rockets (1-9), with a 66-42 final.
Kenisha Whyte (12pts), Ellie Bishop and Judit Fritz (10pts each) combined to hand Reading their D1W-leading ninth loss of the campaign, with a 14-4 third quarter proving to be their downfall in this one.
Endeavour Ipswich Basketball kept their WNBL National Cup defence alive as they went to Loughborough and beat the Riders 72-62.
Both teams had multiple opportunities to lead throughout an exciting second half, with neither able to truly put the game to bed until Ipswich reeled off an 11-0 run across the final 4:28 of regulation.
That late run included points from Louisa Gibbins (22pts, 10reb, 4blk), Maisie Keyes (20pts) and Harriet Welham (14pts, 12reb) as the trio did the bulk of the visitors scoring.
Erin Caldwell (17pts) was the main source of resistance for the hosts, but her output wouldn't be enough to deny Ipswich a return trip to the Final in the New Year.
Brent Bulls and Thames Valley Cavaliers will now battle it out for the other spot in the showpiece, with that game taking place on 5 January.
