Charnwood's victory over Manchester now means 'Sco can't be caught at the top, with a three-way tiebreaker going their way should the Riders make it to 8-2, or in a straight head-to-head with Manchester should Charnwood lose their final game against Derby.
There was plenty of interest elsewhere, with six other games taking place and plenty on the line for other programmes across the country.
We take a look at all the action below.
It was a heart-breaking end to the regular season for Manchester Magic (8-2), as their bid to win the North Conference was abruptly ended by Charnwood College Riders (7-2), with the hosts running out as 100-72 winners.
A strong performance from Lewis Malcolm (22pt, 14reb, 4ast, 4stl) helped get the Riders the win, with Caiden Ross (17pts) and Oliver Bishop (16pts, 13reb) playing well in support.
If Charnwood can claim their final game of the season, they'll lock up the #2 seeding going into the post-season. Defeat against Derby would relegate the Riders to third with Manchester in second, but Myerscough are champions regardless.
Derby Trailblazers (2-7) lost 92-85 against SGS College (2-8) but booked their spot in the playoffs anyway, as they retained the tie-breaker between the two sides.
SGS needed to win by an unlikely 26 points or more to give themselves a shot at progressing, but it wasn't to be despite a 23-point, 17-rebound double-double from Titas Nedzinskas.
In the South, Itchen College (5-4) picked up an important win in their bid to secure the #3 spot, beating Oaklands Wolves (1-8) 84-50.
Joe Lloyd's 26 points was the standout performance for Itchen, closely followed by an 18/12 double-double from Jaiden Dawes.
The battle for third and fourth isn't over though, as JMA Reading Rockets (4-4) grabbed an upset against second place City of London Academy - Southwark (7-3), with a 68-65 final score.
Both teams led during the final frame but it was the hosts who would be ahead come the buzzer thanks to 25 points from Ethan Round. His battle with CoLA's Andrew Nwokolo (16pts, 9reb) was a good one, with the Londoners heading into the playoffs as the #2 seeds.
JMA's path to third now rests on Copleston beating Itchen on the final day of the season. An Itchen win would make JMA's remaining results irrelevant as the South coast programme holds the tie-breaker between the sides should they both finish on six wins.
JMA Reading Rockets 68-65 City of London Academy - Southwark
Oaklands Wolves 50-84 Itchen College
Charnwood College Riders 100-72 Manchester Magic
Derby Trailblazers 85-92 SGS College
City of London Academy - Southwark (9-1) completed their regular season with a 66-56 win against JMA Reading Rockets (0-8).
With a rotated line up that didn't include standout forward Adaora Dioramma, CoLA instead eased to the win behind 15 points from Eri Bukoye. Millie Day (30pts) had a huge day for JMA but was powerless to stop the Rockets from moving within two games of a winless season.
CoLA now need to cross their fingers that Itchen can find a way to deny Copleston on the 26th, otherwise the Suffolk programme will be claiming their second consecutive WEABL South title.
A 23-point, 10-rebound double-double from Caitlin Ryan powered Oaklands Wolves (3-6) to a crucial 78-55 win against Itchen College (4-5).
The margin of victory was a big one for Oaklands, as they could be heading into a three-way tie for the last two playoff spots. 19 points from Anna Idiata Mendez couldn't stop Itchen from falling to the loss, with their playoff hopes now resting on a favour from JMA, who face both Oaklands and Barking to end the season.
Since all games between Oaklands, Itchen and Barking have now been played, a tiebreaker between the trio would favour Barking, then Oaklands, with Itchen falling out of the playoffs if everyone is tied up at 4-6.
The North's only game saw Milton Keynes 5 Dimensions Breakers Academy (0-6) going down to a 69-48 defeat against The Sheffield College (2-5).
Faith Deakin's 26 points led all scorers for MK5D but it wouldn't be enough against 18 points from Isabelle Dalmedo and 17 more from Marissa Evans.
The result locks up the playoff field in the North with the Breakers missing out from the five. Manchester progress as champs, Nottingham are #2, Charnwood are #3 and Sheffield #4.
