That means the end of the regular season is moving sharply into focus, with teams having as many as nine and as few as six games to go.
Those numbers will further decrease after this weekend, with seven contests spread across the coming days. Six are on Saturday, with just Newcastle against Worthing in a crunch clash at the bottom on Sunday.
The NBL Live cameras are also on the road once again, taking in the top of the table showdown between Hemel and Reading from the StormDome.
We take a look at all the action below, with links to live stats at the bottom of the page.
It's first against second on Saturday evening as NBL National Cup winners Reading Rockets head up the M25 to take on D1M leaders Hemel Storm.
The reigning Cup champs are all that stands between Storm and finishing the month with their unbeaten streak intact, though last month's showpiece in Manchester provides a valid yardstick between these two sides.
Reading beat Hemel 108-83 in a dominant display but a neutral site game in Manchester is far from the raucous packed house that will await the Rockets at the StormDome this weekend.
Reading's victory in January was built on efficient shooting, with seven different players hitting 50% or more of their attempts. Those are tough marks to maintain, especially against a Hemel defence that ranks in the top half of D1M for points allowed.
No doubt Coach Clark's side will also have learned plenty from the defeat, with the veteran admitting the side did 'a few bits of soul-searching about why we weren't as effective as we wanted to be'.
It should be remembered that a loss for Storm this weekend is unlikely to derail their campaign. Unbeaten seasons carry a level of historic significance, most certainly, but if Hemel's goal is still to secure top spot, a regular-season title and the #1 seeding for the post-season, their healthy cushion at D1M's summit is still going to be intact whatever happens this weekend.
Saturday evening's contest could prove to be more psychological than anything else. There is a fair chance that these teams could meet again in the playoffs, potentially even in Manchester to decide this year's crown. Reading would love to go into that meeting following back-to-back wins over their rivals, where as Hemel would no doubt enjoy dishing out a timely reminder of their current might.
Cup Final MVP Justin Hopkins dropped 30 on Storm last time they met, with Mitch Clarke and Zain Poorman both collecting D1M Player of the Week honours recently. Victor Olarerin also made the most recent Team of the Week for his 30-point outing, a 90-89 defeat by Milton Keynes.
Hemel's Sam Newman joined Olarerin as a TOTW pick for his 20 assists across a two-win weekend, with Matt Ellis an honourable mention for his scoring exploits. Standout forward Hakeem Sylla is now back in action after a significant knee injury as Hemel just keep getting stronger the longer the season goes on.
This is a clash that NBL fans won't want to miss. John Hobbs and co. will have all the action over on the Basketball England YouTube channel, with tip off set for 7pm.

Five other games remain on Saturday, starting with Newcastle Knights (5-10) against City of Birmingham Rockets (6-12).
Such are the fine lines in D1M, both these teams are still well within touching distance of the playoffs while also needing to keep an eye on the relegation scrap below them.
Elsewhere, Bradford Dragons (3-12) entertain Worthing Thunder (4-13) in West Yorkshire for a huge relegation four-pointer, and that's followed by Sunday's only game as Worthing head up the country to play Newcastle.
Two teams with top-four aspirations also clash, with Bristol Hurricanes (9-7) playing Derby Trailblazers (10-6). Derby are currently tied on 20 points with Milton Keynes Breakers, who head out on the road for a difficult road game against third place Loughborough Riders (11-7).
With the top two facing off this weekend, third, fourth, fifth and six all playing each other, and four of the bottom five mixing it up together, it's only fitting that seventh place Essex Rebels (8-7) and eighth place London Cavaliers (7-9) would also be set to go head-to-head.
There's massive games everywhere you look, with late season implications aplenty. You wouldn't want to miss it!
