The standings are tightening up across the league, with the race for the title, playoff spots and relegation all reaching boiling point.
Hemel can't quite claim the title but can move another step closer as they head to Bristol as one of seven games over the coming weekend.
We take a look at all the weekend's match-ups below, with links to live stats at the bottom of the page.
Worthing Thunder aren't resigned to D1M's bottom two yet, but they're in must-win mode from here on in.
That includes Saturday night's home clash with City of Birmingham Rockets, who are also walking a fine line for making this year's playoffs and have plenty still to play for.
Worthing currently sit two wins back from Nottingham Hoods with three games remaining. As the teams are still to meet on the South Coast to end the season, tiebreakers are yet to be decided, but Thunder just need to keep scrapping over the next few weeks to give themselves any kind of chance heading into that last day showdown with something to play for.
Winners last time out, a 91-85 victory on the road against London Cavaliers, Worthing at least have a small amount of momentum on their side to help with their Mission Improbable.
Malachi Boakye-Yiadom chipped in a welcome 28 points in that win and further late-season form would be most welcome, with Elijah Maynard (24pts) continuing his usual scoring antics as D1M's top scorer to get his side a priceless W.
Both players will no doubt have a big factor on Saturday night, as will veteran Bode Adeluola, who's experience is sure to be invaluable for the hosts.
Availability questions also loom. Zaire Taylor missed the latest outing against the Cavs, with Jonathan Lashley last playing on 23 February against Newcastle.
Taking last weekend off may allow both to feature this weekend, but that remains to be seen.
CoB are in the thick of the playoff hunt, and sit eighth going into this one. That's good for the the final playoff spot and a first-round game against presumed regular-season champs Hemel, but Bristol in seventh also sit on 18 points and could still be caught.
Newcastle are still very much in the race, two points back in ninth, with Zack Powell and co. needed to look both forwards as well as backwards in these chaotic late season times.
Powell continues to top his side's efficiency charts, no surprise given his 16.3PPG, 5.6RPG, 3.9APG splits, with Orlan Jackman (13.6PPG, 7.2RPG) and Martyn Gayle (9.9PPG, 2.1APG) also enjoying solid campaigns.
.
Hafeez Abdul (21.3PPG) and Newcastle Knights (8-12) start the weekend trying to strengthen their playoff credentials, though that won't be easy as they entertain top-four chasing Milton Keynes Breakers (12-8).
Bristol Hurricanes (9-12) can't buy a win right now, dropping five in a row as they threaten to drop out of the playoff picture. Things won't get any easier for the South West side this weekend as they welcome Hemel Storm (17-3), even if the leaders are coming off a rare loss last time out.
Like Worthing, Bradford Dragons (5-14) are close to must-win territory from here on. They have a daunting run-in to close the season though, including a visit from second-place Reading Rockets (16-5), who are still hunting for the title if Hemel slip up.
Derby Trailblazers (14-7) were in hot form over the last six weeks before a home loss to Essex last weekend cooled them off a touch. The reigning regular-season champs will be hoping to get back on track against London Cavaliers (7-12), who are trending in the opposite direction after losing five straight.
Saturday ends with Essex Rebels (12-8) taking a trip to face current Player of the Week Jun Murdock Jr and a Nottingham Hoods (7-14) side that might have done just enough to ensure their D1M survival with a win over Bradford last weekend.
There's likely to be a few more twists and turns before the season is done, so expect the Hoods to keep pushing hard for further wins until they're mathematically safe.
That visit to Nottingham forms part of an Essex double-header, with the Rebels taking on their second bottom three side of the weekend as they head to Bradford for Sunday's only game.
Failing to pick up at least one win this weekend would leave the Dragons in a perilous position, but after going 5-1 in their last six, beating Essex may well be as tricky as toppling Hemel.
