Selected as one of Basketball England and the British Basketball Federation's partners to deliver the latest iteration of the FIBA campaign, which aims to promote women’s and girls’ basketball across the globe through various activities delivered in partnership with national federations, the Rebels' pro players Olivia Partridge, Danielle Taylor, Brooke Flowers and Cameron Taylor-Willis, amongst U16 girls from the Rebels' junior NBL teams, got over 50 budding ballers enjoying and playing the game.
Former Rebel and Sports Development Officer Olivia Partridge said: “It was an inspirational day, and I am so proud to help encourage the next generation of girls.
“I just want to do all I can to create opportunities for young basketballers that I didn’t have when I was growing up.
“It was really great to see so many girls out there and our players loved speaking to them and getting them involved in the gameday.”
