Nottingham Trent University will try to put an end to a brief two game losing streak as they welcome Team Solent Kestrels to the Midlands tomorrow evening.
Losses to 2nd place Anglia Ruskin and 1st place Ipswich have sandwiched the National Cup Final, where NTU also fell to Anglia Ruskin. Currently in 7th spot and set for a playoff place, both Reading in 6th and Bristol in 5th sit on 6 wins and are more than catchable if Nottingham can correct their current form.
Solent are also without a win in their last two games, losing to Thames Valley last time out 72-64. Locked in a tight battle with the Cavs for 3rd spot, the Kestrels need all the points they can get right now to avoid dropping down the post season seedings.
Loughborough Riders (2-10) kick off an important home double header weekend in the quest to avoid potential relegation with a game against fellow strugglers Southwark Pride (2-10), before the NBL Live cameras come in on Sunday to cover the tie against Solent.
The weekend's only other fixture is on Saturday as BA London Lions II host a London derby against cross-capital rivals Southwark.
