The objective of the Aspire programme is to introduce 2007-2011-born players to Basketball England’s talent environment, reinforcing BE’s Player Development Framework and the Aspire curriculum.

Participants are be involved in camp activity within their regions between October and Easter (Stage 1) with the next stage taking place in April. Selected players then move on to one of four super-region camps at Easter and in May (Stage 2).

An Aspire All-Star Tournament will then take place in early Summer 2022 as the final stage of the programme for the 2021/22 season (Stage 3).

Basketball England Talent Programme Officer Meehra Gorasia said:

"It has been brilliant to see more than 1000 players came across the country continuing their development at the latest skills camps.

"We have had fantastic sessions both on and off court, with players feeling excited and challenged. I want to say a huge thanks to our camp directors for their support in organising the camps and to the coaches across the regions for the delivery of the camps."
