England Talent Programme: Summer schedule for U14 & U15s, coaches and staff required

Recruitment is underway for a number of key coaching and support roles ahead of a busy summer for England youth teams. 

The England Talent Programme (ETP) has a number of commitments at home and abroad at U14 and U15 level, with confirmation England Youth teams will take part in events in Menorca, Serbia and Scotland during April and May. 

A three-day selection camp for U14 and U15 boys and girls will take place at the National Basketball Performance Centre in Manchester, with 60 players going through initial assessments. 

The focus with the U14 age group is to deliver training camps and playing opportunities in line with the BE Player Development Framework. 

The focus with the U15s is to expose players to countries and styles of play they are likely to encounter at the GB U16 age group level. 

U16 and U18 players will also have a one-off opportunity to represent England at Four-Nations events recently announced in Scotland and Wales. 

Schedule 

4-6 April: Easter Selection Camp, NBPC, Manchester (U14, U15 Boys and Girls) - Three-day/two-night camp for 60 players, selection based on Aspire Programme performances to date.  

12-17 April: Alaior City Tournament, Menorca (U14/U15 Boys and Girls)       

13-15 May: Tri-Nations Tournament, Dundee, Scotland (U14 Boys & Girls) *Players/coaches for the England U16/U18 teams at the Four Nations events in Dundee (6-8 May) and Cardiff (13-14 April) will be selected/appointed separately

21-24 May: Training camp/games, Belgrade, Serbia (U14/U15 Girls) 

24-27 May: Training camp/games, Belgrade, Serbia (U14/U15 Boys) 

Player selections will be communicated week commencing 21 March.

ETP U14 Girls: Head Coach, Assistant Coach x2, Team Manager 

ETP U15 Girls: Head Coach 

Positions are also available for physios and S&C coaches across the ETP. Applicants should express their interest.
