NBL Division Two preview - Week 5 (26/27 October 2019)

After an interesting start to the season, there’s another nine tasty fixtures in the NBL Division Two, with only one unbeaten side in the Northern Conference and four in the South.

Game of the Week

Myerscough College (3-0) v Derbyshire Arrows (2-1)

It’s first versus second in the Northern Conference, as Myerscough College host Derbyshire Arrows in the last game of the weekend.

Myerscough head into the fixture following a close battle with Manchester Magic, with Franklin Agu scoring a game-high 20 points helping his side hold off a late comeback to beat Manchester 65-63.

Neal Hopkins’ side have also defeated Sheffield Hallam University and Derbyshire Spartans, and will be hoping to make it a double over Derbyshire sides against the Arrows.

Derbyshire Arrows themselves will look to bounce back from a heartbreaking one-point difference loss in the local derby against Spartans, their first defeat of the season. Just two points separate Derbyshire Arrows and Myerscough in the standings.
