Slam Jam is Basketball England’s official junior programme designed for children aged between 7 and 11 years old

The Slam Jam programme is designed to provide a great first experience to the sport in a fun, safe and engaging atmosphere.

Slam Jam not only focuses on basketball related activity, but it also aims to improve the physical literacy and fundamentals of movement for all participants.

We hope that everyone who finishes the programme will want to continue their basketball experience and make it a sport for life.

Slam Jam is packed with fun basketball games, rewards and gives children a great way to learn the basic skills of the game.

Sessions can be delivered over six weeks as part of PE lessons or after school clubs, as well as within a club or community setting.

All the information you need can be found via the pods below, whether you want to find a session for your child, set up Slam Jam at your club or run it in your school PE lessons.
