Standout performances
Worcester got the schedule underway on Friday night with their first win of the season, easily seeing off Cardiff Met Archers 71-44 thanks for a 31-10 fourth quarter.
St Helens continued their title push as they ended Gloucester City Kings' unbeaten start to the season, winning 75-58, and Leicester continued their 'unlucky loser' tag, going down 70-69 against Myerscough for another narrow defeat.
Barnet Bulldogs (111-64 vs London Lions II), BCU (125-114 vs Liverpool), Solent (104-62 at London Stars) and Sheffield Arrows (103-78 vs Tees Valley) all passed the century mark in strong offensive showings, and Barking continued the excitement with a 59-58 win over London rivals CoLA.
Few contests could match up with Sussex's 124-123 slugfest against Greenwich Titans, going three full periods of OT before declaring a winner as both teams held the lead more than once in the extra periods.
In Sunday's only clash, Oaklands continued their unbeaten start to the season with another win, overcoming Cobham Cobras 96-50 on the road.
What does it mean for the standings?
Pool A continues to be a three-way tussle between Manchester, Myerscough and St Helens, with Gloucester City, Tees Valley and BCU all tucked in behind on four points.
Oaklands Wolves and Solent Kestrels appear to be on a collision course in Pool B, though three-win Barnet and Barking are both close behind.
Leicester Warriors (0-4), Liverpool (0-4) and Sheffield Sharks (0-3) in Pool A and Cobham (0-4), London Stars (0-3) and Greenwich Titans (0-2) in Pool B are the remaining winless teams.
