    London calling

With a strong contingent of D1W sides from the Capital, there's plenty of action in London this week.

Two teams off to a slow start, 1-3 CoLA and 1-2 Brent, both go head-to-head, and London All Stars are the latest side to try and inflict a loss to currently unbeaten Barking Abbey.

Last season's league winners London Cavaliers will be hoping a trip to Milton Keynes helps continue their push to catch the teams above them, and East London Phoenix are also on the road as they head up to Worcester to face Ciani Montgomery and the Wolves.

Welham, Rangel look to push on

Struggling Manchester Mystics and Bristol Flyers both take on D1W stars this weekend as Anglia Ruskin host the Flyers and Ipswich head to the North West.

Bobcats' Harriet Welham has snagged back-to-back Player of the Week awards for her stunning play, currently averaging a D1W-best 31.0PPG. She'll be a tough one to solve despite the Mystics picking up their first win of the season last time out.

Close behind Welham on 27.2PPG is ARU's Olivia Rangel. Picking up multiple awards of her own already this season, she'll look to make the most of a match up with a Bristol team that averages a league-worst 71.8PPG.
