NBL, Academy events and locations confirmed for 2027

The NBL's signature events, the National Cup Finals, Senior Playoff Finals and Jnr. NBL Final Fours are all locked in, with other showpieces from across the game also doing the same.

After a successful event last January, the University of Worcester Arena will once again host the National Cup weekend on 23/24 January 2027, providing a fitting end to Basketball England's oldest competition that dates back to 1930s.

The NBL season will, as always, end with the Jnr. NBL Final Fours on 1/2 May 2027, with the Senior Playoff Finals taking place the weekend before, 25/25 April 2027.

Single tickets can be purchased for as little as £7 for U18s and £10 for adults, with a family ticket (two adults, two children) adding further savings at just £25.

Myerscough College took last season's EABL title and will be aiming to defend their title in 2027.

Academy, Talent dates also confirmed

It's not just the NBL with showpiece events coming up in 2026/27, with the Academy leagues, Dynamik National Schools, Aspire and 3x3 competitions also being confirmed.

After moving back to Essex a year ago, the Academy League Finals will join the NBL National Cup in heading to Worcester, taking place on Wednesday 24 March 2027. Tickets are just £4 (U18s) and £6 (Adults), offering the chance to see some of the country's top basketball talent for the price of a cup of coffee.

The Dynamik Schools competition will conclude at Manchester's National Basketball Performance Centre (NBPC) on 21/22 April 2027, with 3x3 and Talent activity bringing the curtain down on proceedings in May and July. Tickets to the Schools' event are free, but must be acquired ahead of entry for capacity reasons.

The Collegiate 3x3 (5 May 2027) and the Academy 3x3 (19 May 2027) with both be at Worcester, before the 3x3 Aspire All Stars (3/4 July 2027) and 5v5 Aspire All Stars (24/25 July 2027) take place at the NBPC.
