NBL D1 Preview (6/7 Dec 2025) - Live Stats, streaming, schedule and more

It's unlikely that any side will be in a giving mood, however. Birmingham and Worcester both have home ties as they try to stay the course atop Pool A, whilst Solent will try to grab a share of top spot in Pool B as they travel to CoLA.

Sunday also contains the lone remaining NBL National Cup quarter-final as Manchester Magic and St Helens Saints battle it out to join Oaklands, Solent and BCU in the last four.

In the list below, a * is for Pool A games, and a + is for Pool B games.

Pool A set to provide thrills and spills

It's an exciting looking weekend across Pool A, with plenty for basketball fans to sink their teeth into.

After upsetting Worcester last time out, Leicester will fancy their chances of doing the same to BCU, whilst the Wolves need to move on as they welcome a St Helens side that have won seven of their last eight, including a win over BCU.

Third and fourth go head-to-head as Myerscough welcome Sheffield Arrows, Cardiff host Sheffield Sharks II in a battle between a pair of three win sides, and the bottom two, Teesside Lions and Oxford Hoops, will both by vying for their maiden win of the season in the North East.

If that wasn't enough, there a pair of North West derbies as Liverpool entertain Manchester Magic on Saturday in D1M before the Magic head home to welcome another local side, St Helens, for the NBL National Cup QF.

Kestrels swoop in for Pool B's top spot

After knocking off the previously unbeaten Barnet Bulldogs last time out, Solent can follow up that success and go joint top this weekend if they can win away at CoLA.

The Bulldogs are without a game, allowing Barking to close in as well should they be able to see off Richmond Knights.

London Elite (0-7) and Greenwich Titans (2-5) can both start to make a move out of the bottom two if they can overcome London Lions II (3-4) and Cobham Cobras (3-4) respectively.

Both face difficult contests against top-four sides next up on 13 December, providing a sense of urgency to picking up a positive result this weekend.
