Team England Commonwealth Games 3x3 head coaches required
Basketball England is recruiting head coaches to lead the challenge for more 3x3 medals at the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
After winning gold and silver in the men’s and women’s events respectively at Birmingham 2022, expectations for further success in Glasgow next year are high.
The successful candidates will be charged with preparing the two Team England squads, steering them through qualification early next year and then winning gold at the Games in Scotland in July and August 2026.
The roles start in October 2025.
3x3 Development Manager Meehra Gorasia said:
“Our England teams and their coaches achieved fantastic results in Birmingham and we are looking forward to challenging for more medals in Glasgow.
“We are ambitious, we want to win gold with both teams and are seeking the right people to lead that mission. We’re excited at the prospect of working with talented, driven, organised individuals to prepare, steer and galvanise the selected players, helping them perform to the highest standard.”
The roles will include working with Basketball England’s Head of Talent and Performance to identify, select and recruit players, supporting team selection and overseeing domestic and international training and competition.
