Standout performances

Barking Abbey continued their perfect start to the season as they established their dominance in the first half to overcome London All Stars 71-54, with the same going for ARU, as they triumphed 75-48 over the winless Bristol Flyers.

The London Cavaliers needed two periods of overtime to get the better of the Milton Keynes Breakers. Janice Monakana exploded for 36 points and 16 rebounds in a 102-95 success to keep up the pace at the top.

Manchester Mystics ended the unbeaten run of Ipswich Bobcats, winning 74-66, while the Worcester Wolves overpowered East London Phoenix 59-33 in Worcester.

Brent Bulls also won, adding to CoLA’s subpar start to the season with a 58-48 road win.

What does it mean for the standings?

Barking Abbey and ARU continue to set the pace at the summit, but London are close behind in third, with Worcester and Manchester close behind.
